This is a copyright notice for distribution of artistic content on behalf of Stabbing Pixies (the artist). the artist reserves all rights with regards to performance and distribution of artistic content, including but not limited to: music, video, still art and photo, computer generated images and text.

The artist hereby allows distribution and reproduuction of said content in entirety, with the reasonable limitation that no commercial intent is behind said distribution or reproduction. We hereby stipulate 3 uses for this music, with differing responsibilities that must be accepted prior to  download, use or distribution of the artists content.

 
Basically: if you are just a fan of the music, or merely curious as to what we're all about, then feel free to download it, copy it and spread it around to your friends. Stabbing Pixies are glad you can find a place for us in your daily life, and ask that, just as we respect you the user of our creations, that you pass on the respect to your family, friends and all homeless pixies, however sharp their knives may be.

if you are a private individual working on a project that is artistic in nature, or that shall be publicly available via web, radio, broadcast (visual or otherwise) or local, national or international event, then we request that you contact us beforehand to let us know your intentions: that's a mutual respect thing that we are sure you as an artist can understand.

an exception is if this venture has any financial, commercial or corporate attachments (sponsership, ownership or implied revenues).

any artistic purpose, for example adding the artist's music to a video soundtrack, whether commercial or non-commercial, must be cleared for permission, according to the *commercial use* stipulation below.

if your interest is of a commercial nature, then you may not use anything we do without contacting us and getting explicit approval.

we have nothing against fame (or infamy even), but desire the creative control that ownership of our own material allows when it omes to making commercial decisions around it.
